XINJIANG 2004Xinjiang (Uyghur: شىنجاڭ) is an Autonomous regions of the People’s Republic of China with the capital as Ürümqi and is located at Xinjiang’s westernmost position in China. Xinjiang borders Russia, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. It is home to a number of different ethnic groups including the Uyghur, Han, Kazakhs, Hui, Kyrgyz, Mongol.
